About Supplee

Built for the margin nobody's watching

Supplier prices creep up invoice by invoice. A box of courgettes goes from £6.95 to £9.95 over a few weeks, and in a kitchen running flat out, nobody catches it. Across dozens of products and several suppliers, that leakage adds up to real money every single month.

Why we built it

We built Supplee for owners, head chefs and ops managers who buy from several suppliers, run on thin margins, and don't have a spare hour a week to reconcile invoices by hand. Supplee reads what you already get from your suppliers, does the watching for you, and gets out of the way so you can order and get back to service.

Who it's for

Independent restaurants and kitchens, used fast and one-handed on the pass or in the office between services. It's built to be plain and quick, never another piece of software to manage.

Joe & Henry, co-founders

Hi, I'm Henry. I'm from Cambridge, and I've worked in hospitality for five years now. I came up with the idea for Supplee when I realised how tight my boss's margins really were, his restaurant wasn't profitable for the first three months of one year, and once we dug into why, a lot of it came down to supplier prices quietly creeping up that nobody had caught. He's profitable now, but it stuck with me: if it happened to him, it was happening to plenty of other food businesses too, and I wanted to stop them overpaying and losing out on their margin the same way. I studied Business and Food Management at university, where I met my co-founder Joe, he's the one who actually codes Supplee, the app, the website, all of it. Between his build and my five years in and around kitchens, we're building the tool we both wished already existed.
